Organisms are classified on the basis of their cells also.

Such as some organisms are unicellular and some are multicellular.

Unicellular-Only one cell performs all the functions.

Multicellular-Many Differ cells do different works.

On the basis of no. of cell organisms can be classified into two categories:

Unicellular : Organisms with single cell. ex amoeba

Multicellular :Organisms with multiple cells,ex human beings and all animals.
