see oxygen is transported by binding with haemoglobin ..(97%)whereas 3%dissolved in plasma....and carbon di oxide is transported as bicarbonate ions70% ...carbamino haemoglobin(27%)..whereas 3%dissolved as plasma...2nd answer....as alveoli are present ...these are small structures which are elastic and extend ..so it's easy to breathe ...hope u like it
