Hey
The amount of oxygen and carbon dioxide gets balanced in the atmosphere by these ways :-
>> Carbon dioxide is taken by plants , so it helps to reduce accumulation of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere .
>> Human / Any organism releases carbon dioxide , so it helps in maintaining the level if carbon dioxide and doesn't let to finish .
>> Human / Other organisms take oxygen and it helps in the reducing the chance if accumulation of oxygen .
>> Plants release oxygen , so there is no chance that oxygen will get used up entirely .
thanks :)

The balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide is maintained in the atmosphere by the oxygen released by plants during photosynthesis and carbon dioxide released by human, animals during respiration in the atmosphere.
Hope it helps.
