When we increase pressure then we actually are increasing no. of collisions of matter particles. As a result there speed will also increase or increase in Kinetic energy. And I think you know that increase in Kinetic energy means increase in temperature.
If we reduce pressure then no. of collisions of particles decrease and eventually, temperature also decereased.
And Pressure is proportional to density.
