Plains have flat lands and they are mainly rich in nutrient full soil as rivers deposit the soil from mountain to plains. The flow of river is also slow in plains. Therefore, due to flat land agriculture is possible, risk is come and construction is easy. it is less expensive to construct houses, building etc in plains. So plains are useful to humans and are densely populated.
