Answer: Plants and animals are interdependent on each other for survival such as :

1) Plants breathe in carbon dioxide and release oxygen. This oxygen is inhaled by the animals which helps them in survival, also the carbon dioxide released by animals helps plants perform photosynthesis, hence survive

2)When a plant dies it is decomposed by microorganisms such as earthworms etc. These decomposers are eaten by birds and many other animals. When animals die, they are consumed by scavengers such as the vulture. When a aminal decomposes, its remains contribute in making the soil fertile. On this soil, full of nutrients, a new plant grows and nourishes.

3)All species are interconnected. They depend on one another. Forests provide homes for animals. Animals eat plants. The plants need healthy soil to grow. Fungi help decompose organisms to fertilize the soil. Bees and other insects carry pollen from one plant to another, which enables the plants to reproduce.

This way the cycle continues.

Plants and animals (humans included) are interdependent on each other for many reasons. ..

. The carnivores then consume the lower animals of the food chain for their nutrition and survival. When living organisms perish, they will decompose and form a part of the soil, which can again be consumed by plants.
