Plants are benifitted by seed dispersal as, tge seeds would fall off at distant places and there would be no competition for the nutrients.
If the seeds will fall at the same place, there will be a competition among the parent plant and the new plant for the sunlight, water, minerals and certain nutrients. The plant maybe then unhealthy because of the lack of the nutrients needed.
