Animal is dependent on plant for many things and even we can say it is a correlationship in which both help eachother

and I will list some benefits of plants to animals.

For oxygen - Animal is dependent on plants for oxygen. since oxygen is produced in plants during photosynthesis which is taken up by animals for there further energy utlizations.

For food - some animals especially herbivores depend upon plants for there food .

Soil erosion - big trees roots hold soil firmly which stops the soil erosion and soil is very important as it takes more than 1000 years for the formation of soil.

Provides shelter- trees provide shelter to many animals in wild while some animals live on trees only.

Brings rain - due to transpiration plants release extra amount of water in the form of vapours which at end falls back on earth in the form of rain.

Industrial use - many parts of the plants are used to form different products like furniture , paper , rubber.

Plants are useful for animals in many ways , here are some of them:

i)It provides food to animals,

ii)It give OXYGEN that helps animals (including humans) to survive,and
