how are political parties recognised as regional and national parties in India? Explain with example (in points)​

Answer:

Regional parties means which are specified to particular state. Ex:TRS, TDP

National parties means which are specified to 3 or 4 states in a country. Ex:BJP

For National Party-

1. secure 6% of total vote in Lok Sabha election or in state assembly election of four states

2. At least four seats in Lok Sabha election

For Regional party

1. Win 6% of total vote in state legislative assembly

2. Win two seats in the state assembly election
