Answer:

There are two types of power resources.

1. Non-renewable Resources:

It can be divided in two types-

i. Fossil fuels, such as Coal, Gas, Oil mines.

ii. Nuclear fuels , such as Uranium mines.

2. Renewable Resources:

Which includes -

i. Solar energy

ii. Wind power

iii. Wave and Tidal power.

iv. Geothermal power.

v. Biomass

vi. Hydro Power.

Comparison :

• Non-renewable resources are scarce in nature, the availability of such resources are limited. But renewable resources can be produced by good management and the supply of such resources is unlimited.

• The collection process of non-renewable resources are time consuming and costly as it requires labour cost and time. Non-renewable resources are comparatively less costly and less time consuming.
