How are power sharing arrangements of sri Lanka different from power sharing arrangements of Belgium

In Belgium,the leaders realised that the unity of the country is possible only by respecting different communities and regions which resulted in mutually acceptable arrangement for sharing power.

Whereas in sri lanka,if a majority community wants to force it's dominance over others,it can undermine the unity of the country.

The power-sharing arrangement inBelgium, although complex, has been running smoothly over the years. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, took adifferent stand with respect to power sharing. The government in Sri Lankawas completely dominated by the majority Sinhala-speaking population, thereby ignoring the Tamil people.
