How are pressure and thrust related with each other

Both Thrust and Pressure are directlyproportional to each other and derived the formula pressure is obtain by perpendicular force and area. They are practically same and thrust is defined as force acting perpendicular each other and divided by the unit area whilepressure is applying by force.
