How are prokaryotes different from eukaryotes in terms of their genetic material?

The main difference between eukaryotic and and prokaryotic cells is that eukaryotic cells have nucleus. The nucleus is where the cells store their DNA which is the genetic material. The nucleus is surrounded by a membrane. Where as a prokaryotic cell does not have a nucleus. Instead their DNA/genetic material floats around inside the cell.
