\huge\bold{Answer:-}

Secondary pollutants are the pollutants which are formed in the atmosphere. exmaple - Nitrogen, oxides, Hydrocarbons, Ozone. They are not released directly by automobiles but are produced from primary pollutants like volcanic eruptions or fires.

Secondary pollutants are more harmful than primary pollutants because the harmful gases produced by primary pollutants like carbon monoxide can result in air pollution in the atmosphere. This will result in acid rain. This will harm historical monuments. And this can result in many respiratory disorders in humans and animals too. Secondary pollutants are of much concern as they are formed from many harmful compounds. eg :- Smoke + fog = Smog. Smog is one of the best example of secondary pollutants.

Secondary pollutants can result in Acid deposition. It is a type of precipitation , rain , snow , sleet , hail or fog. This higher concentration of acid in atmosphere causes problems in ecosystem. Environment remains acidic which again remains one major concern.

In this way, secondary pollutants are more harmful than primary pollutants.
