v) Wheel and axle: A wheel attached to a best so that they both move together. It is used to tender force from one object to other.

vi) Pulley: A chain or type wrapped around a wheel. It helps to lift or drop down objects.

Complex machines:

These machines are the mix of two or more simple machines. They are used in a wide manner even in daily life.

Examples:

i) Fishing rod: It has a Pulley, lever and Wheel and axle.

ii) Bulldozer: It has wedges, lever and Wheel And axle.

iii) Clippers: It has a wedge and levers.

iv) Escalator: It has an inclined plane and pulleys.
