small farmers are depend on local traders cause they sell their grain, rice or pulses to them and then they supply it to the peoples in market. their main source of money is farming they sell it to local farmers for money they gave money in return to the farmers and then they sell it to the market in their price so this is also their source of money. farmers are depend on local traders because they are the main source of their income.
