Heyya!!!!
Here is your answer-------------------->

Foundational challenge - it is a type of a challenge faced by all the non - democratic regimes in the world..
The most primary step taken to solve this challenge is to end the existing non-democratic regime and keeping the military away.. To prevent despotism.

Some countries face these as they are not able to come out the existing non - democratic regime...

Eg - Qatar, Saudi, China etc..

Hope it helps..
Thanks

◆ many of the countries have faced foundation challenges.
=> best example being nepal.
=> other examples:- china, saudi arabia et cetera.

◆ a foundational challenge is the challenge in which the monarchical system needs to be brought down and there is establishment of democratic government.
=> be it dictatorship or rule by military.
=> this needs to be changed for a country which needs to be turned into a democracy.

◆ also, we can take example of pakistan in which many people are demanding a democratic government but it gets harder day by day because of lack of support.
( pakistan is not having democratic government )
