Difference between supercomputer and microcomputer

Supercomputers are the computers that are very large in size, very fast and expensive. Supercomputers are having a large memory size. Microcomputers are the computers that are small in size and called as Personal Computer (PC). Microcomputers are designed to sit on a table for extended period of times.

Difference between Supercomputer and Microcomputer is as follow:

1. Supercomputers are very large in size but Microcomputers are small in size.

2. Supercomputers are very expensive but Microcomputer are cheap than Supercomputers.

3. Supercomputers are used in weather forecasting, astronomy, and robot design but Microcomputers are used in education system, offices.
