How are the bar magnets stored?Explain, especially the role of magnetic keepers.

The earth's magnetic field exerts a torque on individual magnetic dipoles which alters their orientation. So, magnetic keepers are used to store magnets. Bar magnets are arranged in pairs, with opposite poles facing each other. Two soft iron strips are placed at the either end of the pair of magnets.
