Answer:

Deer are adapted to different environments in a few ways. First of all and most important in colder regions, they have a reddish brown coat in late spring and summer months. Coming into winter they shed this coat and grow a new thicker coat, this one more tan/grey, which helps with camouflaging themselves. But most importantly, the coat insulates them from cold environments, with the longer hair within the blanket of fur being hollow, providing them with a layer of insulation. They have very strong legs and can run over 25 mph on average, when need be. These strong leg muscles are used to jump over things in their way and what not as well as run from possible danger. Deer have a heightened sense of smell and hearing compared to humans and are very good at trusting their instincts when they get the feeling they should run. Smaller adaptations, which may change a few times in a deer's life span, are ones such as bedding and mating locations and food type and sources. These may be changed or adjusted for many reasons, ie: new predators in the area, human population growth in the area forces them to assimilate or relocate, or simply that their original location wasn't providing them with what they needed anymore. I know that there is a lot more to it than that but that is a basic generalized “summary" I guess you could say.
