In the electromagnetic spectrum, from left to right wavelength decreases, and frequency increases. Hence, option (b) is correct.

  • The wavelength of radio waves is 10^{3} m whereas the wavelength of the Gamma rays is 10^{-12} m. So, you can clearly see the wavelength is decreasing.
  • The frequency of radio waves is 3 * 10^{11} Hz whereas the frequency of the Gamma rays is ranging between 10^{20} Hz  and 10^{24} Hz. So, you can clearly see frequency is increasing from left to right. Hence, option(b) is the correct answer.
