Spring:

I look at spring time as like the birth of a new born child. Spring time is the beginning of life. Precious that it is bounding with growth and change. Soaking up the knowledge that there is more to life, just as a new born begins to take in new sights and sounds, begins to bond with its parents. Spring time feeds the world with nutrients like the Sun, Rain, Warm Air, and Cool Breezes;

Parents feed an infant with Food, Water, Love, Companionship, Shelter, Clothing, and Warmth; we watch as our children begin to grow changing every single day; just as the trees, the flowers , and the grass grows; knowing and wishing for brighter days to come. The anticipation of a better and brighter day; a child learning something new each and every day; growing in size; changing in appearance; The beginning of a wondrous world and a new life full of adventures.

Summer:

The time of adolescence; the beginning of childhood; the joy and carefree being of life; the brightness of the sky; the heat from the sun; the ability to laugh and play; to dream and fantasize; to look forward to becoming a teenager and young adult; the time to chart new directions; absorb knowledge as the earth absorbs the light, and water needed for continued growth; the time to instill morals and values; to become aware of one’s self. The continued journey to a destination that awaits us, the responsibilities that we are destined to inherit, the opportunities and challenges that we will face in life as we grow older. The time in life when the world can show its beauty, desire and strength.

Fall:

The time of being an adult; the change of the season(s); where nature begins to go to sleep; we are now adults no longer carefree, but responsible; our foundations in place; the continued strengthening of our lives, as the world strengthens itself for the next cycle of life. We are now the stage where we are supposed to be mature, yet continuing our growth of wisdom our features still changing getting older and hopefully wiser. We have to plan for our future as the world prepares itself for a new cycle of life. Building our own families as our parents before us did. The fall plans for the next stage of life.

Winter:

The season where we are now considered to be elderly; the time where the world can appear to be a cold and lonely place; yet if we planned our lives during the fall season as adults perhaps it will not be so cold and daunting. The time where we pass down our knowledge and wisdom to our grandchildren to help prepare them for their seasons of life. We begin to become retrospective as well as introspective. We cherish our families and look forward to when we will rest. Looking to the next season, or preparing for the conclusion of our season in order to begin again in another presence or another space; or perhaps another season as the cycle continues to repeat itself.

No matter what season you are in at this stage of your life always look forward to the next season. That next season is capable of being your finest season or your worst season. But it how you approach that season that will depend on your outcome.

Yes life is finite but enjoy all of the seasons that you experience. Enjoy the good and the bad. Know that hope is eternal just as the seasons are eternal
