eastern plain

1) lies between bay of bengal and eastern ghats.

2) divided into 2 parts.

3) norther part is known an northern circar and the southern part is coromandel coast.

4) comparatively smaller (60km) and irregular.

Western coastal plain

1) lies between arabian sea and western ghats

2) divided into 3 parts.

3) northern part - konkan

middle part - kannad

southern part - malabar coast

4) comparatively longer (80-100km) and regular
