Coramandel Fisher's By Sarojini Naidu (a poet belonging at the the time of of the Indian Freedom movement although is about fishermen yet it metaphorically mirror's her desire for free India and therefore she inspires the people of India to hasten their struggle
Explanation:
- In the poem, in stanza 3 Sarojini Naidu writes "Come, let us gather our nets from the shore and set our catamarans free, To capture the leaping wealth of the tide, for we are the kings of the sea!"
- According to the poet, the fisherman must gather their nets from the sea-shores and take their boats since the tide is filled with wealth (that is sea-gulls, fish , and so on) and the fishermen are the kings. All they must have to to go to the sea and seize the wealth which belongs to them and they must hasten
- Though the poem was all about fishermen, metaphorically it mirror's her desire for free India and therefore she inspires the people of India to hasten their struggle
