We live in Kerala state, my neighbouring states are Karnataka and Tamilnadu. The food and clothes culture is different for all states. IN Kerala we generally use a different variety of rice , while in Karnataka there is different variety . We prefer Rice porridge as our chief food because we grow grains in paddy fields. We also prefer Idli, Appam, Puttu. In Karnataka, usual preferences are Dose, Idli, Vade , Bisibele bath, Puliyogare. They grow Corn, wheat , and Peanuts etc. Their food habits include these.Keralites are fans of tea , that too without milk. It is an emotion. In Karnataka, filter coffee is their favourite.
Let us examine clothes . Kerala, God's own country is famous for Mundu( traditional attire Dhoti) and Kerala sarees that are white, worn on special occasions. On normal days clothings are restricted to Salwar Kameez, Long skirt, and some modern clothes. In Karnataka, pants are famous than Dhotis. The women prefer sarees, Daavani(semi sarees) etc.
