Gases dissolved in water are significant for animals that live in water because if gas like oxygen doesn't dissolve in water then the aquatic live will be at risk. We can always Notice the phenomenon that fish always prefer to live in cold water rather than hot water because gases can dissolve more in cold water than hot water. therefore concentration of oxygen in cold water is high and hence fishes and aquatic life prefer it.
