How are the girls treated in Indian families? Answer in civics

Firstly lets see what the book says :

Girls in India are not treated properly 'cause people consider them inferior . Girls are not given equal opportunities in any field be it in family or in jobs .

They don't have right to live their life in the way they want . Several crimes against women are reported every day like domestic violence , sexual harassment or stalking . If the sex of foetus is detected and its female then the procedure is ended up by infoeticide.

Now what I think :

The time when discrimination against women was at its peak has gone. Nowadays both men and women are considered equal and are given equal opportunites. There are lot of examples . Yes crimes have not been uprooted completely but the cases are less than before .

The mindset of society has fortunately changed . And some people who still are partial for women , should not be considered as a part of this society.

I don't know if you agree to my views but yes you can cram the bookish part if you want to.

QUESTION:-

How are the girls treated in Indian families? Answer in civics

ANSWER:-

  • In Indian families, girls as part of a long-established custom, practice, or belief are discriminated against and omitted from political and family pertinent judgements. Despite the significant amount of work girls must do on a day-to-day purpose to support their families, their viewpoints are barely acknowledged and their liberties are restricted. From the moment young girls are born, they are the victims of discrimination.

  • This gender unevenness and inequality is also existing in education as only two-thirds of girls between the ages of six and seventeen are propelled to school as compared to three-forth of boys of the exact age. Moreover, in the countryside, only forty-eight per cent of women are literate, which is nearly one-half the literacy rate for boys.
