Here is ur answer...

The Himalayan mountain range and Tibetan plateau have formed as a result of the collision between the Indian Plate and Eurasian Plate which began 50 million years ago and continues today. 225 million years ago (Ma) India was a large island situated off the Australian coast and separated from Asia by the Tethys Ocean.

Himalayas are formed with the collision of indo-australian plate to the euratian plate . It's a folded mountain formed with the collision of two plate .

Before crores year ago indo- Australian plate was sliding toward north and it collide with euratian plate then the plate which was having lower density went downwards and second one went upwards then Himalayas formed .
