First of all in my opinion, as I'm a student of class 9. You should give a brief introduction of the chapter in your own words first.And then you should go line by line explaining the story. Teaching even the booring chapters as a story will attract students attention. Don't try to just go through the chapter as a chapter. Try to elaborate it as a story. So that kids take interest on it. Don't use English language always because some kids don't know English very well. Use both the languages to explain the chapter. And lastly, better to see the mode of the students as if you think they're getting too bored then immediately stop reading the chapter and try to got attention of the students by any different mean like telling them a joke,etc. And never complete the chapter in one day. Try to split it day wise. If you do this I hope no students gets bored in your class.
