HEY!!

In human beings lungs contains millions of Alveolis which provide a surface for gas exchange. An extensive network of blood vessels are present in the walls of alveolis enabling to maximize the exchange of gases in an efficient way.

♤ The bronchioles terminate in the balloon like structure called alveoli.

♤ The alveoli present in the lungs provide maximum surface for exchange of gases.
