Hii....

As you know kidney purifies the blood by removing the metabolic waste in the form of urine ,,the lungs purify air and remove CO2 from the body and allow O2 to reach to every part of the body...

Answer:

The lungs are similar to ‘kidneys’ with respect to their excretion function.

Explanation:

The lungs excrete the waste carbon dioxide that is produced as a ‘result of tissue metabolism’ whereas the kidneys excrete the nitrogenous waste from the blood.

The ‘alveoli’ in the lungs exchange the ‘carbon dioxide’ whereas the ‘nephrons’ in the kidneys help in the filtration of blood and help in the formation of urine which contains the waste from the blood.
