How are the primary and secondary immune response carried out in the human body? Explain.

The primary response is the first response of our immune system to a newely introduced foreign agent , while a second intensified immune response to same foreign agent in secondary response/

Immune response are produced by two types of lymphocytes .

B-Lymphocytes: These produce an army of proteins in response to pathogen, i.e, antibody in the blood. The different types of antibodies secreted are IgA, IgM , IgE , IgG.

T-Lymphocytes are the mediators of the cell-mediated immunity (CMI).
