How are the properties of a brick different from that of air?

Brick is the solid material that has no inter molecular space within them whereas air is the gaseous substance that has ample inter molecular space within it.

In addition to this, the brick has a higher density as compared to air and are more compactable.

There are bricks that are lighter than air making them sponge-like material.
