In Convex mirror , rays parrallel to principal axis seems to pass through the focus and is reflected back on the same side.

Location of the image :-

Image in this case is formed between pole(P) and Focus(F), behind the mirror.

Nature of the image :-

  • Virtual
  • Erect
  • Diminished

About Convex mirror :-

A convex mirror is a type of curved mirror whose reflective surface is one which bulges out. The inner surface is polished. In this mirror, the Focus & Centre of curvature lies on the opposite side of the bulged surface. The image formed by this mirror is virtual and erect.
