How are the scope of rights expanded?
- our certain rights like right to freedom ,right to speech and right against exploitation etc are derived from our fundamental rights.
- Now school education has also become the important right of the Indian citizens . It is the responsibility of the government to provide compulsory and free education up to the age of 14 years
- parliament has enacted a law which gives us the right to information to our citizens. This right was made under the fundamental right of freedom of speech and thought.
- constitution of our India provides many rights which is not fundamental for example right to property it is not a fundamental right but a constitutional right.
- Sometimes, the expansion takes place in what called human rights. there are more universal claims that may or may not be recognised by the law.
