Tropical evergreen forest:-
1. They are also known as Rain forest.
2. Since the region is warm and wet throughout the year, there is no definate time for trees to shed their leaves.
3. Examples- ebony, mahogany, rubbber,rosewood.
4. Common animqls found in these forests are elephants and monkeys.
Tropical Decideous Forest:-
1. These are also known as Monsoon forest.
2. The trees shed their leaves for about six to eight weeks in dry summer.
3. Examples- teak, bamboo, sandalwood, peepal, neem.
4. Common animals found in these forests are lions and tigers.
