The primary difference between thorn forest and mangroves is that thorn forest are found in arid or dry regions where the rainfall or water availability is very low and that's why they develop thorns to save the water which is present in themselves, while the mangroves are found in the coastal areas which have salty water as the salinity of water is favourable for their growth.
