Travelogues play an important role in the reconstruction of history. Travelogues are the accounts written by foreign travelers. The Travelogues provides us with a detailed account of information about the political events, the social condition and about the economic aspects of the people or empire they met. For instance, many travelers visited India during the Medieval Period to name some, Al-Beruni (from Central Asia), Ibn Battuta etc. Their diaries and letters work as an important source in the reconstruction of History, as they describe almost every aspect of an empire.
