There are two sorts of twins..
Fraternal and identical...
When an ova splits into two. and both are fertilised its identical twins, when two separate ova are fertilised then its fraternal...
In a summarised way we can say that when two female eggs or ova are fertilised by sperms then the Zygote formed will be two and if the zygotes are from a single egg, they will be identical else fraternal
