Vacuole are the clear spaces in cytoplasm which contains substances dissolved in water.

\bold{Functions:-} ●It stores various chemical products that accumlate within the cell.

●They are generally absent in the animal cell. If they are present, they are smaller in size and lesser in number, Whereas in plant cell they are larger in size and more in number.

●In Amoeba, the vacuole contain food particles and are called food vacuole.

●Vacuoles sometimes stores the waste products as well.

The organisms which are made up of only one cell.

Eg:- Amoeba , paramecium, Bacteria.
