How are viral diseases such as hepatitis and HIV passed?

Transmission and prevention. HBV andHIV can be transmitted in similar ways, but hepatitis B is more infectious. Both are passed on by contact with body fluids which contain the virus such as blood, semen and vaginal fluid, or from a mother to her baby during pregnancy or delivery.
