HEY MATE ❤️❤️

Viruses are made by hijacking the host cell machinery. Viruses enter the cell by binding to receptors on the outside of the host cell. Once inside, the virus uncoats its genome and uses host cell machinery, such as RNA polymerase and ribosomes to read the instructions and create more viruses. The viruses assemble inside the host cell and either burst out, or bud out slowly over time. Either way, the result is detrimental to the host cell whose resources are now diverted to making more viruses.

>>A virus is made up of a core of genetic material, either DNA or RNA, surrounded by a protective coat called a capsid which is made up of protein.

>>Sometimes the capsid is surrounded by an additional spikey coat called the envelope.
