Watsage can be classified into to parts on the basis of recycling viz.
Biodegradable and non biodegradable
Biodegradable: Resources which can be used again and again are called biodegradable wastes
Non biodegradable: Resources like coal petroleum whose resources are also limited and can not be used again and again as they get burnt after use are termed as non biodegradable wastes.
For waste management one should classify such waste so that they can be recycled
