Water and mineral can be transported in plant through the xylem tissue.

Explaination :-

  • In the xylem tissue, vessel and trachide of the root, stem, leaves are inter connected forming a continuous system of water canals which conduct to reach in all parts of the plant.

Plants have two transportation systems :-

  1. Xylem transports water and minerals from the roots up the plant stem and into the leaves.
  2. Phloem transports food from the leaves to the rest of the plant.
