we are able to see distinct and nearby objects clearly due to power of accommodation of the eye. ciliary muscle help in changing the curvature of eye lens . no image is formed at blind spot due to absence of rods and cones

the least distinct vision of eye is 25cm for a healthy eye and for a healthy eye the fartest point of distinct vision is infinity and photoreceptors are not present at that region that's why no image can form at blind spot and I think ciliary bodies help in changing the curvature of lens.. but I'm not sure
