winds are produced when there is a pressure difference between two regions. winds blow from the high pressure areas to the low pressure areas

when the part of earth is heated up , then the air near the surface  heats up too and moves up .. this causes the area to be turned into a low pressure area . the  surrounding high pressure area contains air which rushes towards the low pressure are ad thus winds are blown....
