Difference between Summer and Winter Monsoons (in India):

• Summer Monsoons occur between the months of June and September while winter monsoons occur between the months of November to February.

• Summer Monsoons occur from the South West Monsoon Winds and Winter monsoons occur from the North East Monsoon Winds.

• Summer monsoons have higher intensity as they blow over the vast oceans carrying a lot of moisture. Winter monsoons are less in intensity as they originate over land and collect moisture from the Bay of Bengal.

Hope this helps you.
