Work is a measure of energy transfer when force is applied in a certain direction .It is measured in Joules. Work is related to force and distance by the mathematical equation :work=force*distance.....Force,in this equation, usually refers to the weight of an object given by mass x gravity.....

Work, force and displacement are related because force and displacement are the two conditions for work to be done. Work done is got by the product of the force and displacement....hope it helped
