bat is not a bird. it a part of the mammal kingdom. even the structure of wings of a bat is completely different from that of bird. the bat have skin folds whereas the birds have feathers as wings.

It sleeps in morning and hunt and eat at night.Its wing allows it to get a sustainable flight .It attacks banana trees and drink the nectar and eat the bananas they live in colonies.Some bats can use echolocation technique.Hope it helps.
