How beryllium and aluminium exhibit many properties which are similar . But the two elements?

they same properties because of diagonal relationship. but beryllium cannot form polymeric hybrides because beryllium can show maximum 4 covalency and aluminium can show maximum 6 covalency so alluminium can form polymeric hybrides.
